Maybe we’re in the thick of wedding season, or maybe we’re just so used to seeing maximalist styles on the red carpet, but Aubrey Plaza’s dress at the ESPY Awards is hitting all the right notes for us. On July 20, the actor attended the award show in Los Angeles wearing a white Et Ochs dress with chic metallic detailing across the chest. Styled by Jessica Paster, Plaza’s dress was from the brand’s resort 22 collection, yet the formfitting style and her accessories were giving strong bridal vibes.
Plaza paired the fabulous gown with a white-gold diamond eternity necklace from Effy Jewelry, as well as matching diamond rings by the jeweler. She tied the look together with Jimmy Choo heels that hid behind the floor-length dress. While Plaza’s simple, sleek look had future brides turning into the heart-eye emoji, the award show’s red carpet was not without its fair share of bright, over-the-top outfits. Ciara wore a black Sabina Bilenko gown with a crystal bra, Alison Brie wore a Roberto Cavalli minidress covered with pastel flowers and hip buckles, and Chloe Kim wore a bright-blue cutout Versace gown, to name a few.
